Gaiam Premium 2-Color Yoga Mat, Vibrant Viridian, 5mm

This mat is so great! Love the reversible option, though I admit I've only stuck to one side so far. The thickness is nice since my knees kill me sometimes on harder poses/exercises. I remember reading reviews that it initially this mat was slippery for some people at first and it took a few uses before the grip was great. The grip was fine for me from the start (and not slippery), but if it had been, I would've just given it the few uses tbh. I wish the mat came with a simple sleeve bag (nothing fancy needed) for the price you're paying, but not really an issue at the moment.

After using the same (non-Gaiam) mat I bought when I began practicing yoga as a total novice about twelve years ago, I decided to treat myself with a new mat from Gaiam. The mat arrived shortly after I ordered it, and I'm thrilled with its length, sturdiness, and color. I attend a 90-min. yoga class three times a week, and the quality and character of the new mat have enriched my practice and my enjoyment of it.
