As a veteran of the "monster carpet cleaner" wars, I am officially obsessed with this little machine. I don't have enough carpet to justify a full-sized rig, but I do have an elderly Great Pyrenees who treats my sofa like his personal day spa. Between his "dog glitter" (fur) and the literal landslide of dirt falling off him, my back pillows were starting to change colors. Since this sofa was a budget find, the stuffing and covers are basically soulmates—they cannot be separated for a trip to the washing machine. I tried a steam cleaner, but the dirt wouldn't budge. Enter the Shark. It worked absolute miracles! I did have a brief "how do I empty this?" panic, but a 30-second YouTube deep dive fixed that. My house finally smells like a home again instead of a giant, furry kennel. 10/10 would recommend for anyone living with a fluffy dirt-magnet. Attached pic shows it still drying, but all came out perfect.

I needed to get my furniture cleaned but I didn't want to hire a company and be inconvenienced so I purchased this cleaner . The first time I used it, I did not get good suction. I read the manual only to discover that I was not holding the handle at the right angle for extraction. Once I figured that out, the extraction suction was great. This is a compact cleaner for upholstered furniture or small carpet stain removal. Definitely recommend.
