Hanes Men's Double Tough Crew Socks, 12 + 2 Bonus Pack

I turned 64 years of age this past February 2020 and I have been wearing men's Hanes socks all of my life; however, I've only been wearing these Hanes men's "FreshIQ" socks for the last several (i.e., more recent) years as I believe they are a newer addition to the Hanes line of men's crew socks. I read only some of the other product reviews which cite these FreshIQ socks as being thinner<>lighter in weight; however, if they are, this is a feature I welcome as it adds to the comfort of wearing them as there is more space in the shoe's interior as opposed to being very thick socks! During the colder months, I not only wear these great socks when I am on the go outdoors, but I also wear them inside of the home--along with my Hanes sweatpants and hoodie jackets. I keep my thermostat set at 60 degrees "24/7" to save on my heating bills. Some of the product reviews indicate that these socks wear out and I have found that after "a lot" of use (over lots and lots of wear and time!) they do need replacing; however, I get a lot of use out of these Hanes men's FreshIQ socks and sooner or later every type of fabric that sustains lots of contact will eventually wear out. Some of the product reviewers have mentioned that these socks run small in size. I take a size 10 "extra wide" shoe and I will offer that over time (I have found, anyway!) that these socks stretch significantly. Finally, Summer 2020 is barely underway and we've already had lots of hot days here in the northeast (as well as in past years when I wore these Hanes FreshIQ socks!) and I find these socks to be breathable to the point that sweaty feet are not really that big of a problem. I just placed an order for another 24 pairs of these Hanes FreshIQ socks so I must like them!
