ZVOX AccuVoice AV100 Mini Dialogue Boosting TV Speaker Sound Bar, 10"

This sound bar is amazing. Now you can clearly hear dialogue. TV sounds so much better. Would highly recommend this for anyone who has trouble hearing dialogue or has trouble hearing in general. 10 Stars!!!

We were looking for a solution to my Mom's new television being hard for her to hear the dialogue. The dialogue on older shows and movies (30 years ago), was fine...any show or movie newer than that seemed to swallow the dialogue between characters into expansive sound effects and music.... making it almost impossible to catch every word. I ran across the ZVOX AccuVoice AV100 in a search for dialogue boosting speakers. That's exactly what it does. We plugged the AV100 in, and instantly, my Mom was able to listen to television and movies clearly for the first time in years. I don't know exactly how it works...but the dialogue seems to be "sharper" at overall volume levels. In other words...we were having to turn the television volume up to 100 (max) before...and my Mom still couldn't make out the dialogue...now, we keep the television at around 50% and she can hear the dialogue perfectly through the AV100 speaker. One last thought, the speaker is very, very small...I think 10". When I first looked at it, I didn't think it possible that it could make a difference to my Mom's enjoyment of television...but it made ALL the difference. She can now hear the dialogue normally after decades.
