Very disappointed. Ordered one for the downstairs and one for the upstairs. Hoping for a largely “hands off” product that requires reasonable maintenance such as replacing the bag in the base unit when it is full and replacing the filter unit in the vacuum on a reasonable schedule. Similar to the limited maintenance on a vacuum. The roombaj7 is the most high maintenance, poorly functioning product for the price I've seen in quite a while. Takes forever to clean, gets stuck at least every other time it runs, leaves large clumps of debris on carpet as it passes over to clean. It's much faster and less aggravating to simply vacuum myself. I just checked to see if I could return both units under warranty and found that I'm just over a year since purchase so probably not. Gave up using the unit months ago and ignored it. Figured I'd run it today before my wife returned from a trip so the floors would be nice upon her return. Same story as above- huge clumps of dirt and debris on the carpet, unit couldn't return to its base to empty and charge. Had to manually place it on the base and vacuum myself. Great idea but this product is terrible.

I would never purcahse this product.

This Roomba is honestly the worst purchase I've ever made. I bought the Combo j7 specifically for both vacuuming and mopping, but in the last 5 months, it hasn't completed a single job properly. The battery dies quickly, it constantly gets stuck, and worst of all, the mopping function has never worked. The robot refuses to recognize the mopping pad no matter what I do. I've spent hours on the phone with customer service, and after all that, I was told they're out of stock and can't even send me a replacement Combo bin. So basically, the mopping feature is useless. The warranty sounds good on paper, but in reality, it's been a joke. I've wasted time, money, and energy on a device that has only given me headaches. Please do yourself a favor and look into other brands before spending hundreds on this.

Great Vacuum Robot!

Love the new bag storage and the self-emptying feature. I wish you could manipulate the map a bit more. It has a few wrong things that I cannot fix and it doesn't seem to be fixing / learning it on it's own, but otherwise, it's truly amazing!
