small but mighty

This was a gift for my dad as he wanted a small lamp. It looks nice.. but a regular bulb was to high as it went over the top of the shade and blinded me. lol. I think a smaller bulb is called for. turning off and on is good as he just needs to push it in. There is no fumbling for it to turn it off and on. which is good for arthritic hands! overall, its just what he wanted.
