Great bike for the money.

I really enjoy my purchase of this bike. I live in southern Arizona near the border, so I encounter lots of hills. I find the 14 speed gearing, especially with the two front gears, to be must when encountering them. The one think I must advise potential buyers of this bike is that it is a GRAVEL BIKE. Not a mountain bike replacement. Meaning, it is essentially a road/race bike with a sturdier frame and slightly knobby tires. Far too many YouTube videos have people taking this thing through hard core mountain bike trails with some putting holes in the tires and others feeling insecure with the drop bars. Again, this is a gravel bike; for road, gravel, some light trails, then back on road again.

Great Bike!

I was leaning toward giving this bike 4 stars due to a few shortcomings, but honestly, the price makes it easy to overlook them. For what you pay, it delivers solid value and gets you rolling fast. Pros: Affordable looks great Comfortable ride Feels lightweight Simple assembly Cons: Tires are just okay Stock tubes are cheap . I ended up upgrading to Continental tubes with removable valves so I could add sealant Soft torque bolts — it's a budget bike, and the hardware reflects that. I stripped more than one bolt, including the front brake pad adjustment screw (removing that was a real adventure) Bottom line: It's a great bike for the price. I've logged 160 miles in the last 10 days and it's held up well. Just be cautious when tightening bolts, use a torque wrench if you can and check out a few YouTube videos on brake and gear adjustments. No need to drop $150 at a bike shop when you can DIY.

Seriously a cool bike!

This is a fun bike. Overall, I actually really love it. My previous bikes have been cruisers, and I was a little nervous about this bike with the drop bars and the middle cross bar. I did a lot of research because I'm only 5'0” and needed a bike that I didn't have to hop over to mount. I got the small frame, btw. I was looking to join my husband in a more serious cycling journey, but didn't want to commit to a road bike. The “medium” Kenda tires on this gravel bike are nice because I can go road, trail, and light gravel. It's a nice cross between mountain and other bikes for sure. I feel safe riding it (with a helmet) and adjusted to the breaks and gears after the second ride. I don't know much about bike stats, but as a beginner I am pleased with my purchase, feel like it was worth the price, and recommend assembling yourself or professionally for optimal set up. Also, the color scheme, I mean come on!
