Buy this Bike go out and ride ride and ride. Don’t get fooled into buying a $1000 plus gravel bike. These bikes are well built and ride amazing. If you don’t have the skills to put this together and tune it take it to a friendly bike shop and have them do it.

Update the item details

This is a fun starter gravel bike, especially if you use it as a platform to learn how to upgrade bikes, but the info provided is a little inaccurate. The g.1 has two versions: the 1st gen has all L-Twoo/generic gears/controls and a freewheel and the 2nd gen has a shimano tourney rear derailleur, Shimano CS-HG200 7 Speed 12-32T Cassette, and short freehub. You can identify the older model by it only having mounts for one bottle cage and the gear on the rear derailleur is red. The frame may not have “g.1 explorer” on the top of the frame, but it's difficult to find side by side comparisons to the two.

Great bike for the money.

I really enjoy my purchase of this bike. I live in southern Arizona near the border, so I encounter lots of hills. I find the 14 speed gearing, especially with the two front gears, to be must when encountering them. The one think I must advise potential buyers of this bike is that it is a GRAVEL BIKE. Not a mountain bike replacement. Meaning, it is essentially a road/race bike with a sturdier frame and slightly knobby tires. Far too many YouTube videos have people taking this thing through hard core mountain bike trails with some putting holes in the tires and others feeling insecure with the drop bars. Again, this is a gravel bike; for road, gravel, some light trails, then back on road again.
