I have a gas stove. The thick bottom heats evenly, the handles stay cool and don't tip the pan. We had lids that fit and the pans have a indentation to pour off excess liquid. We follwed the seasoning instructions provided and food just slides. You just wipe off with a paper towel to clean. A real value, would definitely buy again, even at twice the price.

I have been using these for a few months now. I was anxious about the wooden handles. In fact they are wonderful to use. They keep cool and clean. As for the pans they are wonderful too. Easy to clean and totally nonstick. They are pretty heavy which probably accounts for their high quality. So my recipes are a success. Very pleasant to cook with and a fast clean up.
