Great but pricey for gas stoves

overall pretty pricey but worth it if you can't buy a fancy stove it makes even cooking and searing a dream come true. The downside is its aluminum so it changes color if you put water on it. the upside it's aluminum so really even cooking and probably the best. honestly you're better off getting a induction nuwave or something like that for around the same price. However if you really love gas stove tops it's great. I'm not sure about electric stove tops but reviews don't seem that great because it melts.

The real deal

This thing is heavy metal at it's best, but maybe a little too heavy for our stove. It's one of those older electric models with the coil elements and already takes forever to heat up. It really struggles to get this diffuser up to speed. But that's our fault. This thing is solid and should last a long time. My only concern is that the description indicates it is enameled coated, which could wear down over time. The smaller diffuser plate we already have is just metal with no coating and is still going strong. We'll see.
