I feel pretty, feminine and sexy in this dress. I am top-heavy, full-breasted, with broad shoulders, full upper arms, aging elbows and knees and trim hips, and I have a defined waist at the sides, but my tummy protrudes a little. This design works miracles. The narrow V-Neckline is very slimming. The slightly raised banded waist with gathering hides tummy bulge. The stretchy 3/4" sleeves cover my elbows and are fitted and slimming. The A-Line skirt gives knee coverage and adds fullness to my lower body. No alterations are needed. The bodice is fitted, so I went a size larger, and it all worked.
