ick new chemical smelled. smell went away after 1st or 2nd wash. the 1.5yr old can pull them off which is fine with me but just fyi for others ok that was all the critalness about them. they are durable they are great i throw them in the wash with other clothes (velcrowed or in washer bag) I take them out to dry and they dry fast easy to hand wash too 5 star amazing đź‘Ź
