good bye for the money

excellent buy for the money. two years ago I bought a black Max self-propelled from Walmart I paid $200 more for that than I did for this one I just got. and the one I just got outperforms to Black Max I paid more money for. The Black Max self-propelled would crawl across my lawn, this mower Will really give you a workout because it hauls butt across the yard. quick assembly of the handle put some oil and gas in it and you're ready to go

Doesn't have oil on the box!

I wanted to make sure people know that this lawnmower doesn't come with a container of oil. The lawnmower is sometimes hard to start but then works fine. I bought a similar lawnmower several years ago from Walmart also a PowerSmart but it still runs and isn't hard to start and came with the required bottle of oil.

Good mower for price

I've used this mower about 10x. It was hard to start at first but now it'll start on the 1st or 2nd pull whem cold amd primed about 6 times. I do not like the rear driven self propeled style as I prefer front wheel driven ones, mainly because the front end raises up if your not careful when you start going forward. it also does not have any speed control...one speed, that's it. Overall, this lawnmower is worth the money but then i got it on sale for may around $250.
