Where to begin...I am a 61-year-old woman who bought this mower in May to replace one I've had for 20 years. I needed self-propelled for a yard with hills to help tackle this task. Problems I've had so far: 1-Hard to start when hot. If you have to add gas, I have had to wait as long as 30 minutes before it will start again. 2-The cover on the foam filter above where you prime just broke off last weekend. 3-The wire that engages/disengages the self propel function just broke today and now can't engage the self propel feature. I now have to figure out how to reattach if possible so I can use that feature as it's the only reason I bought this mower. When WORKING it cuts well and I've been pleased with how the yard looks but this is a NEW mower and it is a problem every week. I wouldnt buy this mower or this brand again.

Do not waster your money on this

I used this about four times, and then... problems began. It overheats and stalls out after about 20 minutes. White smoke (a lot ); Two places that I called stated they don't service this brand. I tried a few things myself. I drained the oil completely, and refilled with fresh oil - ensuring not to over or under fill I changed the carburetor. All good for one start. Then it died out again and would not start. I changed the spark plug out. Still the mower won't start. All of this and I have not use dit the mower more than about six or seven times. I wish I could get a full refund for it. Do not waste your money on this.

This has honestly been one of the worst experiences of my life.! I have an almost $400 mower I can’t even use. I have called the Powersmart company numerous times. The mower goes so fast that I have to run to keep up with it. They tell me that it cannot be fixed. I’m 70 years old and would do good to run for my life much less a mower! I would definitely steer clear of Powersmart. As for myself I will NEVER buy anything from them again!
