The shape allows for larger items to be placed on the bottom while still allowing the bag to not be too large. I like how I can carry my cooler on my shoulder. Just like a purse, it's easy to carry my lunch now. I really enjoy is beautiful. The colors are nice. It's easy to clean inside and outside. And I really like the extra pocket on the outside. It's perfect for what I need.
