The Johnson Beetle Bou is a versatile lure designed to attract a variety of panfish species. Its micro-fine marabou feathers come to life with even the slightest water movement, creating an irresistible, lifelike presentation. Equipped with gold-plated hooks favored by crappie anglers, it adapts to diverse fishing conditions and preferences. Available in multiple sizes and colors. We got our start in 1949 when Lloyd Johnson and Henry Warren Denison built their first reel, the Johnson Sidewinder, in a basement in Mankato, Minnesota. We’ve been delivering high-quality products ever since. In the early 60's Johnson acquired the original Beetle Spin, a lure that is still in production today and can be found in virtually every tackle box. There have been many imitations, but none have ever matched the action and simplicity of Johnson's original Beetle Spin. Whether you're fishing in freshwater or salt, the Johnson brand has become a staple for every angler.
