BOOST Glucose Control Nutritional Drink, Rich Chocolate, 8 fl oz, 15 Pack

Purchased for hubby, who is borderline diabetic but finds that this product is a big help to keep him from getting the occasional "shakes." I keep several in the fridge for him. He'll take one along when we have to unavoidably be out (generally medical visits). HE gave me feedback as far as flavor, etc. Personally, I'm not a fan of thickened drinks no matter the brand. My husband likes ONLY the Rich Chocolate flavor. This size of 15 pack for the price listed on Walmart is seriously excellent. Generally, it's sold in packs of 6 or 12, with the 12 pack averaging up to $28 - 30. Note of caution: I place order during cold weather months to avoid its being on the delivery truck in warm to hot temps. Ordering a few pkgs enables me to place them in the basement pantry. That way hubby never runs out. Just a thought....

I am pre-diabetic. I don't eat the best diet to prevent full diabetes but I drink 1 to 2 Boosts a night. I just had blood test that showed I am no longer on the border of full diabetes. It is absolutely sure it is because I use Boost. I prefer the chocolate and the 16 grams of protein. For a senior on a fixed income it is expensive to buy 2/15 count cases every 3 weeks but it is worth it. An added benefit is that it stops me from snacking before bed.
