Works perfect. I can easily view numbers even though I have bad eyesight. Brown-ness of the toast matches the amount I preselected. Advice: Do a few pretend cycles without using any food items. Running the toaster through several cycles will burn off the new plastic smell, which is very strong. I actually had to air out my house.

Nice looking toaster!
This toaster is simple and perfect. You don't need all those other buttons and digital you can't see anyway. I like the extra lift to get the evenly browned toast out. I was so glad to find this toaster. Exactly what I was looking for. Love simple that looks good and works good! The only con would be I wish the cord came out the middle instead of the end. It's fine though, just wrong end for my plug but no big deal.
