Tender and flavorfull

My daughter came over and threw this is the crock pot with some beef broth, aujus seasoning packet , ranch seasoning packet and a stick of butter on top and left it to cook for 6 hours and then we had the most delicious pot roast sandwiches on french bread with a slice of provolone and the aujus mix to dip our sandwiches in. The price is a bit high but it tasted great and had minimal fat. It was very tender and tasted great the next day when heated in the microwave and the meat itself was a great snack.

Fantastic slow cooked on stovetop

I wanted this to fall apart, so I braised it on a burner and it was so delicious. Hadn't bought a roast in a very long time, and this was so worth it. Plenty of fat to make it tender with that "beef" taste. I live alone, so I froze most of this in several zip plastic freezer bags. I highly recommend this if you are craving that beefy taste. Not cheap, but what is now, but so worth it. Not something I would cook often but will buy again soon. So much meat, wow, a treat.

It was great. I rubbed it down well with olive oil and spices. After slightly sweating the veggies , mushrooms,carrots , red potatoes and celery seasoned well. I put the roast in that pot and braised it crispy on all sides . Then put it in an for 2.5 hours @325. very tender and tasty
