Super soft and the rubber grip really does work. The only drawback is that the socks start to fall after all day wear (8 hours). So keep that in mind that they stay up for all day use. I would recommend and have purchased a second set because of the softness and all day comfort. Works great for sleeping as my legs don't feel tired in the morning.
