Replaced older gas logs stand alone with the Pro Com ventless in black finish. My propane company recommended it vs purchasing a much higher priced one. It doesn't come with a remote but you can set the temp and never have to do anything else. It heated by whole 1200 sq ft home cutting my power bill in half!! Power light push button is easy, the propane company installed it within 30 minutes. That included removing the old one. Works great and looks nice in my living area. During the bad ice storm and snow in January, February it kept my tank from running out. Highly recommend anyone that needs a new one, get it now! They sell fast when cold temps start dipping more. If I had lost power it would have kept us warm. If I could give 10 stars I would. Good quality, the top never gets hot and the heat rises fast. Warmed my house fast in 30 minutes when temps were in the teens. My power bill was close to $400 the prior winter with the old logs. You don't need a remote with the temp settings. From low to high it gets the job done!

The vent free stove meets our every expectation. It is setting in front of a fire place in a quite large room. It was purchased as an emergency heat source in case winter storms caused a power ouetage of several days. We are pleased with the heat output. The additional warmth is very noticable after about 30 minutes run time. A recent ice storm prompted us to look for an alternate heat source. It fills the bill.
