Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 Whitening Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush, Pink HX6876/21

My older low budget Philips Sonic toothbrush (10 years old) finally gave up. Really debated spending this much for a toothbrush. Have plaque and tartar issues and decided to give this a try to see if it works better. I like the guided brushing that includes letting me know I missed areas and to go back for "x" seconds. I feel like my teeth are cleaner and look forward to brushing as soon as possible after meals. We will see when I go to the dentist in a couple of weeks if it really helped. Battery life is shorter than old tooth brush, but there are more features (Bluetooth is a power hog). I also use the deep clean mode which extends brushing time. I would still probably buy it again.

I've been an Oral B elec toothbrush user for a long time. Just decided to switch things up, so purchased the Sonicare 6100. At first it took a few brushes to get used to the much tighter and almost ticklish feel inside my mouth, but once I got the hang of brushing with the Sonicare I'd say I'm very happy. Teeth feel sparkly clean after 2 minutes. It does feel a bit messier because of the rapid movement of the brush so now I'm back to standing near a sink while brushing. Bottom line, if you're switching from other brands it will feel different and take a while to acclimate, but it will be worth the time. Great product and with the extended warranty of 30 months I think it's worth the price.
