FitRx SmartBell Gym, 100lbs. Adjustable Dumbbells, Kettlebells and Barbell Weight Set, Metal Barbell

packaging was falling apart upon arrival....corners open and parts were falling out.

I got a USED set when it was supposed to be NEW. The handles and barbell had food stains, scratches, some sticky residue, and dirt on them. They're was also some damage on some of the plastic handles. This is absolutely unacceptable!! Even if selling used items was somehow okay (WITH customer consent), they should never arrive dirty. I'm heavily considering returning, it's just hard to transport the box because of the weight (and packaging was damaged). I didn't get a storage case, which would've been a big pro. For use, removing and resetting the plates is very cumbersome, hopefully you won't need to do that in between workouts. Also, the metal handles do have some decent weight, and I don't know how much they weigh. It didn't seem to be written anywhere, which problematic for tracking. Pros: everything seemed to have come (nothing missing), plates seem to be clean (individually wrapped in plastic), locks are very tight and I didn't notice plates slipping (they do rotate though). FedEx delivery was horrible (I don't blame the seller for this, just something to note for buyers). They not only didn't deliver it to my front door (which was in the instructions), but they left it at a back door of my building that very few people use. Both outer and inner packaging was damaged, but this may just have been because the set was used (boxes broken, plastic packaging torn). If you order this, I recommend thoroughly wiping down the entire set unless you're sure you got a new one.
