Ok, they don’t really explode, but the back side splits into folds so you don’t normally need to use a back-up washer with them. They work great where it’s hard to reach the back side. Choose small or large head and the color of your choice. Plain, Black, White, Red, Orange, Yellow, Pepsi (light) Blue or Chevron (dark) Blue. Box of 250. Small head is 3/8 O.D. Aluminum pop rivet with aluminum shank. Reach 0" - 0.375"

Speedway exploding rivets for the win
Speedway exploding rivets are a spectacular option for mounting fiberglass and plastic parts without damaging them with heavier pull rivets. Color coating is durable, and coincidentally matched our cars color.
