HP Slim Desktop Tower, Intel Pentium, 8GB Memory, 256GB SSD, Windows 11 Home, Black, S01-aF2023w

I purchased this computer to replace an old, Windows 8 system that was running slow on the internet highway. It's smaller than my old machine, setup was easy and fast, am using the corded keyboard and mouse with this computer from my old computer (am saving the wireless units for future use). Connecting to my wifi router was very fast and easy, afterwhich it began to download and install any updates that was needed. Once that was completed, I began to surf the internet and was able to navigate through the waves of information without any hiccups, at a very fast pace, without any "wipe outs" along the way. Really a big difference of speed and power with the Windows 11 OS, as compared to my old Win8 machine. Mind you, I'm not a gamer person, just wanted a computer so that I could pay bills, surf the net, and get ready to do my taxes. For just normal, daily computer stuff... this computer works very nicely for the price. I do wish there were more USB ports in the back than on the front of the tower, and because of that, I had to run my printer cable from the front USB connection, which makes the computer look sort of 'ugly' in a way, can't be helped, at least my printer's working. Very smooth... very nice... easy to navigate without difficulty or headaches... so far.

This is a good little system. Yes, it lacks a cd drive, but any competent computer tech or advanced user can easily add one. The motherboard has additional SATA ports for accessory additions, and a power pigtail off the motherboard for 2 additional accessories. The motherboard also has an additional slot for another nvme SSD (M2 small size). There are also 2 additional slots on the motherboard for additional cards. There is no bloatware on this Windows 11 system, which is nice. Setup took about 40 minutes, after which I had access to the desktop, and was easily able to install the programs that didn't automatically transfer over. The only real drawback I can find with this system is the lack of expansion slots for RAM. I opted for the 32GB model, as I do a lot of audio related stuff and need a ton of RAM. Unfortunately there are only 2 slots for RAM, which are both occupied by the sticks that make up my 32GB. Glad I opted for more RAM. Better to go with what you need rather than being disappointed by the lack of upgradability.
