Some reviewers said they ordered this as a king for a queen bed, to avoid having to have side rails or a bed skirt. I did the same, but have to say on the sides it is only about 1" off the floor. Since I have storage containers under the bed and this is for a guest room, I'm going to leaving it that way, although I wish it were a little shorter. The material is very nice and light weight, the colors are true to the picture and it really looks nice on the bed with the shams.
