Very soft - very good quality. The blue color has more green in it than appears in the picture. and is much lighter. But I washed them when I received them and they are beautiful. I got a king and a queen. I am using them for covers for my white slipcovered couches and they are beautiful on it.

The original Vellux!!

I was so happy to find the original Vellux blanket at Walmart.com. I have been looking in stores for a long time and I could not find one anywhere! These are the best cuddly blankets---everyone in my family loves them! I wash ours with liquid fabric softener and it makes them so soft. This blanket has a hem sewn around all the sides and it seems very durable. One of our old ones only had a hem at the top and bottom and the sides got a little ragged. I can tell this one is going to last a long time!

the blanket is great except it is a little short and I have to keep retucking it in at the foot. At least my husband isn't complaining his butt or back are getting cold, the sides hang just right for him.
