These skates are awesome! My son bought them for himself and has definitely gotten his money out of them and lots and lots more fun to go. They still operate brand new after months of use. It is tricky for him but he is able to swap out the in-line blade for the quad skates. The liner comes in and out but it doesn't seem near as complex as they used to be when I was a kid. It just fits right back into its place and there is a square of Velcro it connects to once it's placed.

The fit is amazing and with them being adjustable my little one absolutely loves them. She has wanted a big girl set as she outgrew her childrens (toy version) and she is zooming around like crazy. the changing of the wheels from quad to in line is great for when she feels comfortable to tey them as well. Highly recommend!!!!

These are great skates , that also comes with blades. Only thing I would recommend is if your child is in a 1 , I would get the size 3/5 pair. They are great . Grandson wanted to wear them to bed. He's in size 1 and skates are 12-2. So they are snug I'd say they are one size smaller then marked. Great skates though!
