Good RMA Experience

Unfortunately my card failed after 2 weeks. I paid to mail it in for RMA and the turn around was quick but the replacement also did not work. $110 in shipping costs later, my second replacement came and ahas worked flawlessly. Excellent customer service however the card did fail very quickly and I did have to pocket half of the shipping costs (I opted to insure the package considering its value).

GPU DOA, Q-Code 97 w/ white LED. PNY = Poor QC.

Ordering this GPU has been a nightmare. Here's my experience with this GPU purchased from Walmart. Let me start off by saying, for such an expensive piece of hardware this PNY variant is of the most cheapest quality. None of the edges are flush and the lines are mismatched. I digress. At least PNY put a LED on the side shroud. lol. In all seriousness however this GPU was a dud. DOA. A lot of time went into troubleshooting this bad boy. Seating %26 Re-seating, Same with RAM. Swapping PCIe Slots, tries different PSU's, Bios updates... the whole shebang. All with no resolution, nothing nada. $1,998.00 later and all I am left with is a headache and days without neither my purchase that works or my money in the bank. The card is dead. Yeah it lights up and the fans spin however since my Motherboard is a high end Z690, it has a Q-Code debugger built in. When diagnosed by a CompTiA Tech, it was determined that the GPU hardware was defective. The Q code shown is 97 with White LED, indicating "console output devices connect" . this means there is an anomaly with the hardware of the GPU. The PC Is failing to recognize the GPU, resulting in black screens and failure to post upon start up. Basically PNY has poor quality control. Lets hope the customer service is efficient and responsive. *Fingers crossed The Graphics card has since been dropped of at FedEx (22 Min away mind you.) for a return. I have requested a replacement. Replacement will be sent when they receive my defective unit at their processing center. I will update my review after the customer service experience.
