Nice, basic indoor-outdoor digital thermometer

Out of the package, this indoor/outdoor thermometer was easy to set up. While it uses standard AA and AAA batteries, I used Energizer lithium AAs for the transmitter unit. This should make it last a longer time as well as help it withstand temperature extremes. This is pretty much a no frills unit, displaying only time and temperature. Time is manually set and is easily set. Temperature display is easy to read, although it isn't backlit. Would be perfect if it came with batteries, but it doesn't.
