HOWARD LEIGHT IMPACT PRO EARMUFF ADJUSTABLE 30DB BLK

I didn't want a bigger ear muff, but it was a trade off for better hearing protection. So far, I really like these. You can hear people talk, and they do a good job at cancelling the loud shots. They look good on, too. These would not be for shooting a rifle, as they are too bulky to be comfortable/accurate for that, since you have to drop your head to the side, and it would crowd a rifle. The volume control is very sensitive as you turn it up, as normal speech is made clear. Comes with 2 good quality batteries which are easy to install. Now I need to look for a case, maybe ne that will hold my sight protection with the muffs. Glad I tried these!

Really like these earmuffs. When it comes to protecting your hearing, more protection is good. With 30Db noise reduction, these guys really tame loud reports. I went looking for and purchased these after a range session wearing my previous 22Db rated muffs, where I had another shooter occupy the lane next to me shooting a 50 AE Desert Eagle. The noise was so encompassing that I simply left, and decided to find something better. The Impact Pro fit the bill exactly. Wearing them. I've been around everything from .22LR to .44 Magnum to .300 Winchester Magnum and felt I had adequate hearing protection. While not the greatest for a rifle shooter because of their larger ear cup size, I'm found them manageable. Great noise reduction, and the system still allows me to hear and obey range commands. Durable too, as I've currently used my original set for over 5 years, with weekly range visits, and they show virtually no wear and work as new. Just finally purchased another set to keep in the car in case I forget to bring them with the rest of my shooting gear. Highly recommend them!
