Durable hard plastic , which is important to have when you drop the phone , which I've done already and thank goodness I had it on , because my last phone didn't have a case and my phone was shattered and everyone told me to get a case.. lesson learned .. The color pink is really nice , which I wanted since I live in South Florida, it gives off a tropical appearance . I also have a pink laptop it matches .. Only thing , it didn't come with a plastic face to protect the phone screen .
