I particularly like the countdown light indicator which gives me the ability to plan, exactly, when the toast will be ready for me to place my perfectly poached eggs on top of it. In other words, no eggs, waiting in the pan and having a chance of over cooking.

After my last toaster died following many years of use, this was my replacement. Easy dial setting for toasting level is a good feature. I really like the wider slots and the bagel setting so you're only toasting one side. I use that pretty much every morning. The crumb trays slide in the back, are easy to access and clean.

So far so good. I like it is primarily metal especially where the food and heat elements are. No obvious smells on first heating use. First use 4 slices on level one on one side and two on the other. Level one was perfect evenly toasted. On both sides and was done within seconds. I canceled the other side so it will not over toast. I also will not have to listen complain about are old toaster cheap 2 slices and always complained how long it took for just two slices. I love our new toaster. I will update this if anything changes. BTW very simple controls
