Miele Complete C3 Marin Canister Vacuum Cleaner - Corded

I ordered the vacuum cleaner that I wanted, the Consumer Report top rated Miele Complete C3 Marin, SGJEO. The vacuum usually sells for $1369, but was offered by Walmart on sale, for $999. Instead of receiving the product I had ordered, I received a totally different cheap (valued $800 less) model, SGDE3. Calling Walmart customer service, I explained the problem, and was told that I would be contacted by the vendor within 48 hours. I heard nothing ... so had to call Walmart Customer Service again. Walmart apologized, then told me that the "3rd party" vendor, told them that I could either return the vacuum cleaner, or keep it at a 20% discount ... which would mean paying $800 for a vacuum that sells on Amazon for $550!! I don't know how many others have been suckered into doing this without realizing the scam ... I stated to Walmart that I wanted the correct vacuum at the sale price, as published, buying directly from Walmart. Walmart refused to do so, forcing me instead to deal again with the disreputable 3rd party. Given Walmart's refusal to directly stand behind my order, and send me the correct vacuum, I ended up returning the product. All a big hassle, wasting many hours of time, and leaving me without the vacuum cleaner I had ordered and paid for. I will now be starting over and ordering my vacuum cleaner from a reputable business that will actually send me the product that I order ... and stand behind it!
