Very good vacuum. Very powerful. i have several cats, and it cleans up their fur very well. I love everything about this vacuum, especially that it is a cannister. I had to retire my Kirby upright, because it is just too heavy. Hard to do stairs, and impossible to take upstairs. It works very well, but there are too many things that make it too difficult for me. I am 74 years old with COPD, and my new Kenmore allows me to do everything without stress.

To thank his son for visiting so I could go travel with a friend for a week, and for then working to put the house back to rights before I returned, my husband suggested we send his son the same vacuum we have which he'd admired. To say he was thrilled is an understatement! They have mostly hardwood floors vs our tile, but both homes deal with volumes of pet hair, and this versatile vacuum handles it well. A bit heavy, but does the job better than most! Wouldn't have gifted one if it didn't work well!
