At first, it seemed kind of big. After using it, I LOVE it!! It feels light and easy to use.This tool whips through very thick batters ( cookie dough, cornmeal, bread dough ) like it's no problem. It's easy to clean by hand as it doesn't get very dirty.. Since the handle is so sturdy, it can be used to break up ice or frozen foods and isn't as overpowering as my rolling pin. Great tool!!

Great French style rolling pins!

This is a great pair of French style rolling pins. They come in 2 sizes for various baking uses. The longer one is good for for pie dough,and the smaller one is good for smaller pastries. They are smooth on my hands and easy to use and store. They wash well. Do not soak these, nor put them in a dishwasher. I handwash and dry them straight away. I put them in a glass to fully air dry before putting them away to preserve the wood.

These are well made and sturdy enough to use on heavy dough. I bake bread and big batches can be heavy when baking more than one loaf. This helps me to mix and turn the dough onto itself easier and it doesn't stick to the whisk. Nice to have two also at a good price.
