It is a huge space saver in my kids rooms, but at the same time it adds more beds! We did a king bed on the bottom of one.A reg king is too big so it is super tight, but we got it in ok. You would need 2 twins if you do that. And you will need some skinny twin beds (like 6 in or smaller) for under and on top. We already had them. Assembly took awhile, but it wasn't too bad. We all just pitched in and did it. Got it done in like 3 hrs or so? We bought 2 and love them so far.
