These denim shorts are very comfortable to wear. I feel like they may run slightly larger but not enough for me to go down a size. I wear a medium and weight 142 lbs. and I'm 5'5'. They are short but not too short. My butt does not hang out even when I bend over there is plenty of material to keep me covered. I have an iPhone 15 pro and it fits in the back pocket but I feel like it's going to fall out so I do not use the back pockets to hold my phone. The front pockets however are very deep. Overall I love the shorts and would buy them again.

My only reason for 4 stars on quality is that where the “distressed” areas are - it can rip if you were to put your hands into your pockets too fast or not with intention to not affect the distressed area. these are thinner material and are SO comfortable! i don't like thick blue jean shorts. these are so soft and comfortable. there's room in the hips, not too tight in the thighs. I bought two pair just in case the fabric doesn't hold up. honestly, I'd buy 10 pair and put them back so I'll always have a pair! Just buy these!!! i bought a medium and a large. I'm 5'8" 150lbs. Medium fits perfect. large has a little extra room for the days you just need that. 😉
