We had a recent electrical issue and needed to run an extension cord across the bedroom. I needed one that I could safely plug a window fan, led plant light and wi-fi extender into. It also had to have grounded outlets and a plug configuration that would allow for larger power cords to fit comfortably. I plugged it in behind a dresser and I had to pull it out several inches from the wall accommodate the plug. It's not a big deal, since it's only temporary. If you are looking for a cord that you can tuck behind furniture, you'll want to take the size of the plug into consideration. Since this is a heavy cord, that is also meant for outdoor use, it's thick and sturdy. It also has an ergonomic handle on both ends, which makes it easier to unplug.
