SAFAVIEH Brentwood Celandine Geometric Area Rug, Light Grey/Blue, 11' x 15'

I bought this runner plus this same rug in the 8x10 area rug size. When it delivered and I unrolled it I thrilled. It's a soothing grayish beige shade with beautiful tones of blue. It's also a low pile and not thick, no adhesive under it so I laid a mat under it to keep it from slipping. For $25 it was a steal. I have include a photo of both of them together to help other buyers get a feel for what it looks like in a basic home.

I'm rating this rug based off the category it's selling at, not against the extravagant, expensive rugs you can buy from Potty Barn or design stores. I'll admit, I was worried. When you only spend $125 on a rug you can't expect high end quality and thick material. But I have spent thousands on designer rugs, only for my dog to think they are her personal restroom because the thickness felt like grass under her feet. So many rugs were ruined while she was house training. I promised myself I wouldn't waste money on high end rugs while I have her, but I wanted the same look and feel of a high end rug. I purposely chose a low pile and I have a color scheme of blues, pinks, and tans that I'm decorating a new townhouse with. So I chose this simple design because the round rug I bought to go under my table was very colorful and detailed. I didn't want the rugs to compete against each other. In any event, when I bought this rug and a matching runner I wanted something soft and simple but still a statement piece. When they delivered and I unrolled them I was thrilled. They are soft in person, soothing grayish beige tones and a beautiful blend of blues. It's not a clone of the geometric shapes we are seeing all over, it has a bit of a zig zag in the blue pattern to set it apart and that's what I like about it. It does the trick and if my dog ruins it I lost $100 not $1500. I've received many compliments on it from others that have seen it. I included a few (unfinished) photos to help give other buyers a sense of what it looks like in a regular, basic house.
