My soon to be 13 year old daughter put this chair on her Christmas list. I was hesitant because of the size reviews, but got it anyway. She loves it & has used it everyday for the past week. Pros: This chair seems sturdy & is great for general sitting. My daughter sits in it with our small dog & watches TV or works on her weaving projects. Con's: Curling up in this chair is difficult. My daughter is right at 5' tall & has a hard time getting comfortable when she pulls her legs up. The bottom support bar hits her feet at an uncomfortable place. She said it's great to sit in, though. Bottom line: You can't beat the value of this chair if purchased for a child. If you just need seating, it's fine. If you want a comfortable place to curl up & read, it's really only suitable for children. An adult will have a hard time curling up in it. My daughter does love it & is very satisfied with it.
