I purchased this as a replacement for the first gen Apple Pencil that stopped working for my daughter. After charging for a full hour, the Logitech Crayon worked perfectly with her 9th gen iPad. She just had to turn it on and it worked immediately. She said she prefers the way it writes over the Apple Pencil also. I would definitely recommend this as a more cost effective replacement for the Apple Pencil.

This device works great! It's so simple. You just turn it on and it works. I use it to navigate my iPad along with handwriting when I respond to texts or emails or search the web. Not only is it a huge convenience, but it keeps all the fingerprints off my iPad. So it's much cleaner. I don't know what all the negative reviews are about. It would appear on the surface that these people purchased the product from somebody other than Walmart. I think that's the main reason for the negative reviews. I purchased mine directly from the Walmart store.
