Zep Oven and Grill Cleaner, 19 OZ

I mostly use this for cleaning the baked-on grease and grime from the glass windows on my toaster oven and regular oven. It works very well for that. After enough cooking, the glass gradually gets coated until you realize you can barely see the food anymore, and this does a good job of cutting through that buildup. I've also used it on some of the tougher greasy areas of an older grill, where it worked well, although I haven't needed it for grill cleaning recently since I replaced that grill. It's definitely not a pleasant-smelling product, and once it starts dissolving old cooked-on grease, that isn't especially pleasant smelling either. But it does the job, and being able to see through the oven window again is surprisingly satisfying. I can't speak to using it for a complete top-to-bottom oven restoration, but for the greasy cleaning jobs I actually use it for, it works extremely well. Five stars.

This stuff is absolute magic! I've never cleaned my over before, so you can imagine what kind of grease, grime, caked-on melted/charred fallen food and spattered sauce and grease was all over the oven. Like a decade's worth! We've lived here for 10 years and never cleaned the oven. I tried the “Easy Off” brand first, and it sucked compared to this. Literally just spray, let it sit and saturate, and wipe away!! There were a few more stubborn spots I gently used and sos pad for, but I was so amazed! Smells mildly like chemicals, so just be ready for that. I also used their shower cleaner and also worked well!
