Great back scrubber!

I took 2 seconds to to put together! The bristles are just rough enough to make you feel like your're giving yourself a wonderful back scratch, but gentle enough to not break the skin or leave redness. The bristles are in a tight circle, so it its easy to put liquid soap on the bristles and then wash your back, legs, arms while it creates a nice lather. The brush handle is the best!! It is angled just enough that you dont have to be a contortionist to reach every area you want and it's gently on your hand and wrist. I put a small hook inside my shower and I hang it on that to dry in between showers. I love it and use it daily!

Good for a scrub anywhere on body

For me, a short person, the longer handle isn't useful, so I took it off. It works fine with a shorter handle. The brush has a lot of fine bristles that are gentle on the skin (assuming your touch isn't rough), and I've found I use it more when I have an itchy back due to allergic reactions when its action is sufficient to relieve the itch without making it worse. It seems to be exfoliating skins cells. So I think it would be great when a person needs to good scrub anywhere on the body. When it's used in water, water gets inside the part where the bristle screws onto a base, so remove this to get the water out.

I'll be 65 this year and overall (see details below*), the length and curve of the handle work equally well for hard to reach places from upper back to toe. Great brush. *The actual layout design (i.e., parabolic curve) of the handle is PERFECT; although, I do have some trepidation with regards to the handle's, two-piece, screw it together design. I am going to wait and see how well/long the "screw it together" handle holds out. Maybe I'm over critical, but it is a concern. (I guess it's done to either ease shipping problems or in-store merchandising, or bot5h. We'll see.) The bristles, for me are also PERFECT! I hate back scrubbers that are too soft, and the ones that are too hard end up being used to clean the grill. I'm older
