We eat a lot of produce, which needs to be washed, and I've needed something like this for a long time. I've found that some things, such as strawberries , need to soak for a few minutes for all the soil to come off. I used to use just a colander under running water, but I didn't feel it was enough. I've used this bowl set several times, with berries, and so much dirt accumulated in the bottom of the bowl, where I can see it. So I emptied the water out, of the strainer and soaked the strawberries again. That time the water was clean, so I'm really happy. I'm so glad I found this set. I'd love to find it in blue.
