I would say this is a mid grade food. We always come back to Iams for our dogs and cats as they always seem to do really well on it. Their coats looks great . ABSOLUTELY THE BEST HANDS DOWN!! I've never had a dog who didn't like Iams. It's gentle on the stomach for dogs who have a hard time with other foods. Iams is better than most all other foods as the first ingredient is actually CHICKEN, Not by-products or anything like that, simply plain ole CHICKEN. This and following ingredients always tells you what is most in it, and the ingredients in this make it easy on Digestion. Even Picky Eaters seem to find their way to the bowl with Iams in it. And the Mini-chunks make it even easier to eat.
