Guess vs accuracy

This thing works great. I have used it twice and can say it is acccurate and take the a worry out of guessing how long to cook something. Used it to roast turkey at thanksgiving and a prime roast at Christmas. Both come out perfect. I would have cooked the turkey an extra 50 minutes using weight vs time and the roast would have been pulled out early.

Better than expected. Sucesssfully smoked 5 big turkeys 18-20lb using this on my (also bought from Walmart) pit boss pellet smoker. Pro tip: use the black bag pellets. Competition Blend Definitely came in clutch. 10/10 Edit: just realized it fell in water…. Will be buying another if it doesn't come back to life in the ole' rice bag 😂 But it did the job. Worth it!

Why did it take so long? This is so handy. It is magnetic and sits on the outside of my oven the probe can be unplugged and cleaned. It's amazing! So helpful for making sure meat is cooked correctly taking out the guesswork.
