Knorr Granulated Tomato with Chicken Flavor Bouillon Powder, 32 Oz Jar

I enjoy cooking at home, so I appreciate ingredients that are easy to use and work well in a variety of recipes. This seasoning has become one of my favorite ways to add flavor without having to measure several different spices. One of my favorite ways to use it is in a tomato-based rice dish. I simply follow the package directions and adjust the amount based on how much rice I'm making. If I'm adding vegetables to the rice, I adjust when I add them and the cooking time depending on whether I'm using fresh or frozen vegetables so everything finishes cooking properly and the vegetables keep a nice texture. I also use this seasoning in soups, stews, beans, sauces, and other savory dishes whenever I want to add rich, well-rounded flavor. One thing that's important to mention is that I don't add any extra salt when I cook with this. Since it already contains salt along with the tomato and chicken flavors, I find it seasons my food well on its own. To me, the finished dish tastes just as flavorful as if I had added salt separately, so I always taste the food first before deciding whether anything else is needed. That simple habit has helped me avoid making dishes too salty. I appreciate how versatile and easy this seasoning is to use. Whether I'm making rice, soup, beans, or another savory meal, it consistently gives me great results and has become a reliable ingredient in my everyday cooking.

This bouillon is delicious in everything, even as a simple cup of broth to warm the soul. Yes, it's salty, but unlike regular bouillon, you don't need a lot to have terrific flavor (¾ tsp/cup of water). I'd love to see Knorr make a lower sodium version, but it probably wouldn't taste as good.
