Imperfect but Completely Worth It
An imperfect solution, but still, it's great it exists. There are two tricks to getting the most out of it: (1) You have to manually turn it on every time by pressing/holding (for 3 secs.) the button on the side. If you turn off the cassette player itself, this casettle will also turn off, meaning you have to eject it and turn it on again. It's inconvenient, but that's how it works. (2) You have to rely primarily on your phone's volume, and only secondarily on your cassette player's volume control. Otherwise, you'll hear buzzing. Turn the volume up to 75% on your phone. Only then should you use the cassette player's volume control to very slowly turn up the volume to fine tune it.
