Not the Vellux blanket I remeber of my childhood, but still a great blanket. Bought the beige color and it works with my neutral bedcovers. Warm but not heavy. Used during the Florida A/C summer. The original Vellux!!

I was so happy to find the original Vellux blanket at Walmart.com. I have been looking in stores for a long time and I could not find one anywhere! These are the best cuddly blankets---everyone in my family loves them! I wash ours with liquid fabric softener and it makes them so soft. This blanket has a hem sewn around all the sides and it seems very durable. One of our old ones only had a hem at the top and bottom and the sides got a little ragged. I can tell this one is going to last a long time!
