Fresh Whole Brown Mushrooms, 16 oz

Usually these are very fresh and tasty but this last time I had groceries delivered they were horrible, they were old and slimy, that is what happens when you are in a position where you need to let another person pick your groceries for you, especially the produce! Shame on the Walmart shopper!

These are good for sautéing and adding to dishes. Flavor can be mild but that's usually why we get these. If they are really good looking they can be pretty good in salads. But overall in cooking try to get good ones. Freshness matters a lot for taste/texture and shelf life. That said..........I invited the mushrooms to dinner because they're such a fungi!!
