Small but large size

I truly believe you can never have too many external drives around. I have a ton of family pictures that I keep multiple copies of on multiple drives because I can not afford to lose them because they're irreplaceable. It uses the same toolkit software as my Firecuda and that was a plus for me. It does transfer files pretty quickly but if you have gigs upon gigs to transfer, I'd recommend that you break it up in sessions (depending on your system speed too). If you have this drive running for more than an hour or so, it gets HOT so be mindful of that. I love the size of this LaCie drive.

Easy to use

I really like this LaCie Mobile 5TB External USB-C 3.2 Portable Hard Drive with Rescue Data Recovery Services! It was easy to set up and it's easy to use. It comes with very detailed and informative instructions which is very handy. I really enjoy the ample storage capacity and the portability of this hard drive. I like that it is made with recycled materials also. Overall, I feel that this hard drive is very well made and performs well. I highly recommend it!

Fast for a spinning drive

At first I was weary about using a spinning drive as my backup solution instead of a SSD drive...first due to speed and second due to moving parts the possibility of lost data is greatly increased due to the moving parts inside the HD. Well for this drive I am not taking it with me or moving it from being plugged into a server that I backup nightly so I dont have to worry about accidently dropping it or breaking the drive and losing my data...ideally they would switch this to a SSD drive but honestly this drive is extremely fast and very dependable as of now...no issues at all so far! I would recommend this product to anyone that would keep it stationary.
